Project description

The project upgraded several intersections crossing the Bass Highway near Wynyard to mitigate the risk of serious crashes at high-risk junctions in the area.

Benefits

The project will improve safety, increase access and reduce travel times for road users.

Funding

The cost of the project was $1.8 million. The Australian Government contributed $1.5 million and the Tasmanian Government $0.4 million.

Timetable

Construction commenced in March 2018 and was completed in February 2019.
