Project description

The project constructed a new road through the Legana town centre from Freshwater Point Road and Brigalow Street to Fulton Street.

The benefits of this project will be improved safety and improved access for road users.

Funding

The estimated cost of the project is $4.53 million. The Australian Government is contributing up to $2.8 million and the West Tamar Council up to $1.73 million.

Timetable

Construction commenced in March 2018 and was completed in June 2019.
