Project description

The project replaced three timber bridges in the St Marys region and one timber bridge at Upper Scamander.

Benefits

The project has improved safety, increased load capacity, improved freight efficiency and reduced maintenance costs.

Funding

The estimated cost of the project is $617,107. The Australian Government is contributing $300,000 and the Break O'Day Council $365,000.

Timetable

The project commenced construction in May 2017 and was completed in November 2017.
