Project description

Due to the increasing of heavy vehicles the pavement thickness is inadequate to carry high volumes of traffic, pavement is week and is extremely damaged whilst safety issues and noise have been raised by residents and the newly constructed day care.

Remove unsuitable gravel to a depth of 450mm, replace with suitable gravel, compacting in layers, stabilising the travel lanes, whilst providing a bitumen water proofing membrane and asphalt wearing course.
