Project description

Berry Street is narrow seal pavement in a residential area in Ballan. There are a number of issues associated with the narrow pavement as there are no formal shoulders and drainage is limited. There is significant maintenance required during the wetter months due to the lack of shoulders.

Pavement widening, sealing, drainage improvements, intersection improvements and construction of new footpath. The intersection improvements include kerb and channel and a traffic island at the intersection of Berry Street and Spencer Road.
