Project description

Flexible road pavement is in poor condition and has failed for approximately 60% of the roads length; it has extensive cracking rutting and heaving failures. Kerb & channel is greater than 75% disjointed and requires replacing. Drainage improvements and traffic management works will be incorporated into this project.

Works involve roundabout and road reconstruction and will consist of approximately • 3550m² of excavation for road pavement, footpaths and vehicle crossings, • 3100m² of asphalt pavement reconstruction, • 1400m of concrete kerb & channel • 900m² concrete footpath paving • 500m² concrete vehicle crossings • 100m² Roundabout construction • 730m of drainage 225mm to 600mm Dia. Pipes • associated drainage pits

Total cost of proposed project is $1,016,096
