Project description

There has been excessive deterioration of the unsealed pavement, inadequate base course and exposed sub base leading to an unsafe carriageway, ineffective drainage and severe corrugations.

It is proposed to widen and gravel sheet, clean out the side drains and construct extra side drains to prevent further water erosion. The basecourse will be sheeted with 200mm of material, water bound and compacted to achieve a minimum 6 metre wide carriageway.

Total cost of proposed project is $36,821
