Project description

Woy Woy Road is a main arterial link from the motorway to the Peninsula & surrounding suburbs. Increased development has seen a subsequent spike in traffic. This makes it more difficult for residents in Banyo Close and adjacent streets to access Woy Woy Road safely.

Road to be widened to approximately 9.0 metres kerb to kerb over a distance of 300 metres. Work includes kerb and gutter and footpath both sides, additional stormwater drainage, utility adjustments & relocations, retaining walls and numerous driveway adjustments. The job is complicated by high traffic volumes & necessary reduced work hours.

Total cost of proposed project is $810,000
