Project description

The project upgraded the Calder Highway between Bendigo and Mildura in northern Victoria. Works included construction of overtaking lanes, rest area implementations and road side improvements.

The project improved driver safety and travel times.

Funding

The total cost of the project was $20 million. The Australian and Victorian governments each contributed $10 million.

Timetable

Construction commenced in May 2018 and was completed in June 2021.
