Project description

The project planned for the future upgrade of Drysdale-Ocean Grove Road (known locally as Grubb Road) between Bellarine Highway and The Parade in Ocean Grove in south-west Melbourne.

Benefits

The project has developed a business case for the upgrade of Grubb Road, which is expected to improve driver safety and travel times and provide economic benefits through increased tourism in the region.

Funding

The total cost of the project was $600,000.  The Australian and Victorian governments each contributed $300,000.

Timetable

The Australian and Victorian Governments agreed to this planning project in March 2018. The project began in September 2018 and was completed in March 2022.
