Project description

Significant areas of the road pavement and wearing surface have failed, causing a poor/sub-standard and unsafe riding surface. The poor road condition also contributes to water ponding on the road thus increasing the risk of aqua planing.

In selected areas full depth pavement re-construction will be undertaken, together with total surface renewal over the entire section of road. The project will also include some drainage improvement works including new kerb and channel and minor pipe and gully pit installations. Incidental pedestrian improvement works are also part of the project.

Total cost of proposed project is $1,183,378
