Project description

The western end is gravel which becomes potholed, slippery and corrugated in wet weather. Motor Road forms a link between the West Tamar Highway and Deviot Road, and is used by school buses and significant numbers of locals. Overhanging trees drop branches. Maintenance costs are high and road safety is reduced especially in winter.

Rehabilitate, widen and seal the pavement over a distance of 1.5 km. Remove trees close to the pavement, improve roadside drainage and culverts.
