Project description

This is a very busy rural road with 20,000 VPD with high maintenance requirements. This road has severe pavement defects i.e. shoving and cracking due to heavy vehicle usage in several non-continouse sections within the work location mentioned above. This maintenance will protect structural integrity of the pavement, reduce reactive maintenance and improve safety.

It is proposed to mill & fill large affected isolated sections of the road with a formation width to provide structural stability. The proposed 2 asphalt layers will replace the existing unsuitable base layer which is unable to cope with the existing and future traffic volume.

Total cost of proposed project is $781,194
