Project description

The road has inadequate drainage that directs storm water down resident's driveways flooding homes. The road also has no foot paths so residents use the streets to move around town. The primary objective of the project is to mitigate flooding to allotments on the low side of the road as there is currently no protection for these allotments during storm events.

Works will include kerbing the road, a drainage bund on the high side of the road at the rear of the properties to redirect overland flows, an underground drainage pit and pipe system, development of a concrete footpath and sealing and regarding the driveway accesses.

Total cost of proposed project is $987,869
