Project description

The road has extreme depressions and the pavement is in poor condition due to excessive cracking of seal allowing water to penetrate and cause pavement damage

To rehabilitate approximately one (1) kilometre of road by adding 100 millimetres of new crushed rock to an existing 200 millimetre pavement. Stabilise to full depth of 300 millimetres with 3% foam bitumen and 1% lime content at 10 metre width. Seal pavement with 10 millimetre primer seal and overlay with 40 millimetre asphalt seal

Total cost of proposed project is $750,000
