Project description

Pavement exhibiting severe wide longitudinal cracking, of approximately 25% severity, or prevalence. Cracking is wide, and deep. The cracking is believed to be attributed to pavement rigidity and underlying subgrade reactivity, poor drainage.

Rehabilitation of the existing modified pavement. Treatment to involve use of pavement reprofiling or pulverising machine 'Pulvi' and incorporation of additional select pavement material to modify the modulus of elasticity and provide for a less rigid pavement structure. Possible placement of sub-soil 'herringbone' style configuration. Drainage channels/tabledrains to be re-established. Appropriately sized drainage culvert to be installed, or repair of existing."

Total cost of proposed project is $200,000
