Project description

Road is significantly corrugated Footpath and kerb infrastructure is at end of useful life Road stormwater drainage is inadequate

It is proposed to resurface, re-profile and widen the existing road formation Kerb and channel/ underground piped drainage system is proposed for installation where none currently exists It is proposed that formalised car parking with a sealed surface be installed adjacent to the existing road formation

Total cost of proposed project is $1,900,000

Vale Street (Urban Road - Nagambie) - 059628-15VIC-RTR

The road pavement is being final sealed or resealed as per Council maintenance protocols.The entire section of pavement will be spray sealed and appropriate sized stone applied. In some instances emulsions or micro seals may be applied.

Pollard Street, Boddington - 059629-15WA-RTR

Pollard street surface profile is still good but the surfacing itself is nearing the end of useful life and it is heavily cracked.This Project involves resurfacing this section of Pollard street due to very extensive cracking. The cracking has been crack sealed already and it is felt that resealing with Polymer modified (rubberised) bitumen with a 14mm/7mm double seal will enable the new surface to better withstand any tendency for cracking to recur or reflect through the new surface since the rubberised bitumen is particularly good in this application.

Harvey Quindanning Road (rural road) - 059630-15WA-RTR

This section of Harvey Quindanning Road (rural road) is very old and is nearing the end of its useful life. The section involved is prone to potholes forming and some aggregate has been stripped.Resurface a 1km section of the Harvey – Quindanning Road from Straight line Kilometre 1.9 to straight line kilometre 2.9 adjacent to the Race Course. This section of the road between Quindanning and the Quindanning – Darkan Road turn off is now also experiencing heavier traffic since the last section of the Quindanning – Darkan road was surfaced, further exacerbating the problem.

Lower Hotham Road (rural road) - 059631-15WA-RTR

The edge of the road has broken away at various locations and in varying amounts between straight line kilometre 0.2 and straight line kilometre 14.2.Trim out the affected areas on Lower Hotham road (rural road), and reconstruct the edge of the road back to its original width. The repairs will cover as much of the affected area as possible until the funding is expended.

Armitage Road - 059632-15WA-RTR

Road is cracked and surface needs to be retreatedApply crack sealing and reseal with 25mm Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA7). The cul de sac will not be resealed.Total cost of proposed project is $24,037

Mount William Road (Rural Road) - 059633-15VIC-RTR

Failure of road pavement resulting in potholes and cracking. Pavement condition such that travel at speed limit not safe.Rip up existing seal and pavement. Reconstruct pavement and seal to a width of 6.2m wide with 0.6m shoulder.

Watson Street, Epsom - 059634-15VIC-RTR

Existing gravel road is no longer of an appropriate standard given the significant increase in traffic volume.Construction of road pavement and sealing.

Nant Park Road (Rural Road) - 059636-15NSW-RTR

The existing gravel pavement is prone to variable conditions including corrugations and potholes, requiring regular maintenance to rectify defects, and dust can be an issue within the cemetery.Drainage maintenance, reshape road formation and verges; supply, spread, compact and trim natural gravel pavement material to improve pavement strength, and apply a two-coat bituminous surfacing to the roads.

Bourke Street, Glen Innes - 059637-15NSW-RTR

The road is very rough, with pavement and some sections of kerb and gutter in poor condition; and has poor cross-sectional shape and mid-block traffic arrangements not conducive to safety.Replace sections of damaged kerb and gutter, construct mid-block roundabout at the Sommerlad Lane intersection, and rehabilitate road pavement by ripping the existing surface, chemical and/or mechanical stabilisation, and bituminous surfacing.

Grey Street - 059638-15NSW-RTR

The road is very rough, with pavement and some sections of kerb and gutter in poor condition.Replace sections of damaged kerb and gutter, and rehabilitate road pavement by ripping the existing surface, chemical and/or mechanical stabilisation, and bituminous surfacing.
