Project description

Heavily utilised local distributor road in the light industrial area. Road has deteriorated over many years and now requires reconstruction. Pavement failure is occurring with severe deformation, loss of seal, damaged kerbs, and rutted and scoured shoulders.

Upgrade of pavement thickness and strength using imported engineered base course material. Replacement of kerbing, reforming of shoulders and improved drainage. Possible use of asphalt at intersections.

Total cost of proposed project is $818,680
