Project description

Traffic congestion is an increasing issue given the proximity of this intersection is the main access road to Garden Island (HMAS Stirling) and also the main street to the premier foreshore location of Rockingham. This intersection also has high pedestrian traffic for access to cafés and retail outlets. Pedestrian safety due to conflict between large vehicle and pedestrian volumes has been addressed in the design.
