Project description

Kerb and channel has subsided along the length of street and holds water in many locations. The kerb and channel needs to be reconstructed and new drainage is required. Cracking has occurred and road pavement surface is breaking up. The pavement has also lost shape with failures along length of street and requires full reconstruction to address failures and loss of shape.

Reconstruction of kerb and channel, installation of new drainage to service road and full width reconstruction of road pavement and asphalt surface to current standards.

Total cost of proposed project is $649,642

The timber girders which support the 15m long timber running surface are in poor condition due to their age, water damage and some infestation from white ants.Proposed works include the removal of the existing timber girders and timber deck and replace with reinforced box culverts and undertake some minor roadway approach works.Total cost of proposed project is $304,884
