Project description

Inadequate storm water drainage during severe tropical wet season storm events

Stage 2 works - Street reconstruction from straight line kilometre 0.00 to 0.09 to create a overflow storm water channel during server tropical wet season storm events. The road base will be replaced and resealed with two coat 14mm and 7mm bitumen chip seal. Footpaths and street lighting upgrades, and service relocation will also be undertaken, where required.

Major congestion occurs during PM peak hours. Extra southbound lane through roundabout will assist traffic hour.Adding extra southbound lane North and South of roundabout.Total cost of proposed project is $572,566
