Project description

Bitumen road width currently at 3.6 meters wide with 1.2 meter gravel shoulders at either side. Bitumen seal has deteriorated and heavily potholed, the gravel shoulders are of poor quality gravel and becomes slippery and unsafe when wet, light/medium dense vegetation needs to be cleared either side of the road to accommodate the new 10 meter road formation width.

Clear vegetation either side of road to accommodate road width. Form V drains and diversion drains for storm water run off. New base gravel on shoulders to 10 meter width formation. 125 mm gravel base overlay on existing pavement and shoulders. mix, stabilise and compact to line and level. 14/7 mm bitumen aggregate seal. Install new signage and guide posts.
