Project description

To improve pedestrian crossing facilities and traffic calming measures along Welsby Parade North. There is currently a lack of pedestrian crossing facilities from surrounding residential development to foreshore park attraction. To provide a safer and amenable street environment for all users, reduce vehicle speeds, rationalise existing traffic signs and lines and provide on road cycling facilities

The installation of two raised zebra crossings, localised road surface improvements, lighting upgrades, landscaping and pathway improvements.

Total cost of proposed project is $635,000
