Project description

Pavement surface is rutted and undulating along wheel paths and approaches to intersections with extensive areas of services trench reinstatements and pothole maintenance patches and areas of longitudinal, transverse and crocodile cracking and fatigued / oxidised appearance.

Proposed to cold plane profile the existing road surface to a depth of 50 millimetres for a length of 230 metres and a width of 16.5 metres including reconstruction of pavement areas with heavy crocodile cracking and reinstate over the whole area with both 10 mm type H hot mix asphalt wearing course in all traffic lanes and 10mm type V hot mix asphalt at approaches to intersections all to a depth of 50 mm.
