Project description

The existing asphalt road surface has heavy rutting along east side wheel paths and bus lanes with numerous services trench reinstatements and extensive longitudinal, transverse and crocodile pavement cracking and fatigued / oxidised appearance.

Proposed to cold plane profile the existing road surface to a depth of 50 millimetres for a length of 215 metres and a width of 21.5 metres and reinstate over the whole area with both 10 mm type H hot mix asphalt wearing course in traffic lanes and 10mm type V hot mix asphalt at approaches to Bourke Street and Lonsdale Street intersections all to a depth of 50 mm
