Project description

The kerb and water table on both sides of Rectory Walk are in poor condition due to environmental factors and their age. The road pavement is deformed resulting in poor ride ability. The road surface is a spray seal placed in 1995. The surface has significant stone loss and extensive cracking. Rectory Walk is 230 meters in length and is classified as a “Local” road with a vehicle traffic volume of 300 vehicles per day

It is proposed to replace approximately 85% of the kerbing on both sides of Rectory Walk, as the kerbing within cul-de-sac was only constructed in 2004. The kerb replacement will be followed by the removal of the road seal and pavement. The road will be replaced with a 80mm deep lift Asphalt pavement followed with 40mm Asphalt seal.
