The primary purpose of this road is Freight with a secondary purpose of Tourism. Tauragat Well Road has poor alignment with the pavement showing signs of failure and the road widths are not suitable for B-Double transport vehicles. The road services numerous dairies, cattle farms, grazing land and provides a significant transport route for the cartage of agriculture products and fuel supplies to farming industries.
