Increasing maintenance cost for potholes and pavement repairs. Bitumen cracking and stripping due to traffic and ageing surface treatment resulted to moisture infiltration to the road pavement.

Council will scarify the existing pavement and replace any sub-standard sub-base with appropriate materials. Scarified pavement will be compacted to Council standard then sealed with 2-coats bitumen seal.
