Project description

Bitumen cracking and stripping of the ageing seal are the defect that need to be addressed on this section of road. If these defects will not treated earlier this may laid to further deterioration of the road pavement such as potholes, rutting and ravelling.

The pavement shown no indication of any failure, Council decided to treat bitumen cracking, stripping and other defects with 35mm asphalt overlay.
