Project description

The large portions of the existing seal is a single lane seal not suitable for a heavy vehicle route. The shoulders are devoid of gravel, creating a hazardous edge drop. Curves and intersections are poorly aligned. Numerous culverts have failed and/or need widening.

Widen narrow sections of pavement to 2 lanes (8m formation). Reconstruct poorly aligned sections of road and upgrade intersection. Renew failed culverts structures and widen those remaining. Add new line marking, signs and delineation.

Total cost of proposed project is $2,400,000
