Project description

Upgrade of Badgally Road between Eagle Vale Drive and North Steyne Road, including:

  • widening a section of Badgally Road from 2 lanes to 4 lanes
  • installation of kerb and guttering
  • installation of directional signage
  • central concrete medians
  • provision of indented bus bay
  • off road shared pathway
  • new traffic control signals at the intersection of Badgally Road with Clydesdale Drive and Badgally Road with North Steyne Road

Benefits

The project is expected to improve traffic flows, reduce congestion, and improve capacity and access to the broader arterial road network.

Funding

Australian Government funding is capped at $5.76 million.

Timetable

Construction commenced in August 2019 and completed in March 2021.
