Project description

This project undertook a feasibility study to examine options for the removal of the level crossing of the Glen Waverley Line at Madden Grove in Burnley.

Benefits

This project will support improved efficiency of the wider metropolitan transport network, reduced local congestion and delays, improved community connectivity and access to services, and improved safety for all road and rail users.

Funding

The Australian Government has contributed $1,296,862.00 to this project. 

Timetable

The project commenced in mid-2020 and was completed in May 2023.
