Project description

This project is expected to remove the level crossing at Boundary Road.

Benefits

The level crossing removal is expected to deliver:

Increase pedestrian and commuter safety.

Reduce congestion, and improve traffic flow.

Reduce travel time.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $179.5 million towards this project.

Timetable

Construction is expected to commence in mid 2026, with completion expected in late 2029.
