Project description

This project will the involve the delivery of widening a 1.5km length of King Georges Road from Stoney Creek Road to Forest Road from four to six lanes (Stage 1) and upgrading the King Georges Road and Connells Point Road intersection (Stage 2A - early works).

 - reduced travel times
 

Funding

The Australian Government funding contribution is capped at $95 million.

Timetable

Construction commenced in February 2022 and is expected to be completed by Mid 2027.
