Project description

Brassey Creek Bridge on Brassey Creek Road is an single lane, single span timber bridge of unknown age. Recent Inspections of the bridge have reported that the existing substructure has deteriorated significantly, and along with required significant deck maintenance. These results indicated the bridge is no longer able to provide the required level of service.

The bridge is to be replaced with 5m wide Single Lane, 9.5m Long Single Span, steel beam structure with timber decking. The beams will be mounted on Driven Piles with rock protection surrounding the abutments.

Total cost of proposed project is $181,403
