Project description

Existing road standard is insufficient to cater for the mix of heavy haulage and farm machinery. this project will widen both shoulders to achieve 10.3m overall pavement width to provide a uniform Type 5 Road Type Standard to be delivered to this project.

1. Clear vegetation within clear zone on either side of the existing road. 2. Extend Storm water culvert pipes and install head walls. 3. Box out existing gravel shoulders to 300mm and Import base course gravel to either side of the existing bitumen seal. 4.Compact existing base layer and new base course to complete shoulder works.

Total cost of proposed project is $262,000
