Project description

Avoca Road, 350 metres long is a Rural Collector where the existing pavement width of 8.5 metres and rough pavement condition on the approaches and at the intersection with McIntyres Road are below standard and dangerous. The intersection is on a curve and the superelevation is substandard.

The existing road pavement of Avoca Road 7.5 metres wide, is to be reconstructed and strengthened to a 400 mm depth and widened to 9.2 metres width and bitumen sealed to 6.2 metres wide, total pavement 3,220 square metres and total seal 2,170 square metres. The superelevation of the approaches and at the intersection to be constructed to accommodate turning vehicles.

Total cost of proposed project is $693,000
