Project description

(1) Pavement rutting, cracking and defects. (2) Approx 30mm gaps along the joint line between bitumen pavement and brick pavement near South Terrace. (3) Approx 25mm gaps between bitumen surface and drainage Manhole surrounds. (4) Uneven kerb hights and cracked kerbs. (5) Cracked and not up to standard kerb ramps.

(1) Mill existing road surface. Seal and lay new bitumen pavement to remove uneveness in road pavement and to close up gaps along the brick pavement joint line and manhole surrounds. (2) Reinstall linemarking. (3) Install red bitumen in road medians. (4) Reinstall kerbing ensuring even heights. (5) Upgrade kerb ramps to current standard. (6) Replace drainage covers to bicycle and wheel chair friendly types.
