Project description

This project will deliver upgrades along 27km of Tooraweenah Road. Upgrades include road sealing, road rehabilitation, widening, culvert upgrades and flood immunity.

Benefits

The project is expected to:

  • Improve freight access 

  • Improve road safety; 

  • Reduce travel times for all road users; and

  • Flood resilience.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $41.2 million towards this project.

Timetable

Construction is expected to commence late 2025 and be completed by late 2027.
