Project description

The pavement and seal are in poor condition due to excessive cracking of existing seal allowing storm water to penetrate through to a sub-standard pavement. Major damage to the road has been caused by heavy traffic flow, in particular garbage truck activity, compromising vehicle safety

Continuation of 2018-2019 R2R project completing a full reconstruction of 1.5 kilometres of sealed road section. New crushed rock pavement formation increased to a 500 millimeter depth and 8.4 metres in width including a double coat primer seal wearing course
