Project description

Currently has two through lanes with angle parking requiring vehicles exiting the parking to reverse into oncoming traffic, also has minimal pedestrian refuges available and wide open spaces for pedestrian entry onto roadway.

Pedestrian and parking vehicle safety improvements. Works will provide kerb outstands creating a protected lane for vehicles to exit parking as well as provide narrowing of the through lanes and pedestrian refuge improving site distance and road users safety.
