Project description

The project package provided intersection upgrades across the Australian Capital Territory at various identified locations to improve road user and pedestrian safety, and improve traffic management.

The intersections that were upgraded are:

  • Belconnen Way/ Springvale Drive, Page
  • Launceston Street/ Irving Street, Phillip
  • Southern Cross Drive/ Starke Street, Macgregor
  • Kuringa Drive/ Owen Dixon Drive, Spence.

Funding

The Australian Government committed $5,000,000 to this project. This was reduced to $4,062,148 accounting for realised savings following project completion.

Project is complete. Construction commenced in January 2021, and was completed in December 2021.
