Project description

The Project will undertake seal widening in two sections on Minilya-Exmouth Road:
• Section 1A:  widen formation and seal approximately 4.25 km of road to a 9m wide seal, including 2 x 3.5m lanes and 2 x 1m sealed shoulders; and
• Section 2:  this section is approximately 18 km in length and is approximately 87 km south of Exmouth.

  • Improve connectivity between people with jobs and services, and goods with markets.
     

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $12.9 million towards the $16.2 million project.

Timetable

Construction started in January 2021 and completed in November 2022.
