Project description

The project delivered road resurfacing in priority areas, including Bass Highway, Arthur Highway, West Tamar Highway, Lyell Highway, Bell Bay Main Road and Bridport Main Road, and bridge renewal works on Sheas Creek Bridge and Blackman River Bridge.

Benefits

This project improved road safety and efficiency and network reliability for all road users and improved accessibility and connectivity of road networks.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $8 million towards the project.

Timetable

Construction commenced in November 2020 and was completed in December 2025.
