Project description

This project will upgrade the intersection of Geelong-Portarlington Road and Wilsons Road in Geelong. The works will include the installation of traffic signals, pedestrian improvements and associated works. 

Benefits

The project is expected to provide improved road safety for all road users, reduced congestion and improve travel times, improved efficiency and network reliability, improved accessibility and connectivity of road networks.

Funding

The Australian Government is contributing $3.25 million to this project.

Timetable

The project is expected to commence construction in late 2025 and be completed by late 2026.
