Project description

Station Street is a North South road connector through the heart of Wasley's that has observed an increase in traffic due to a new housing development to the South of Wasley's township. The condition of the road has deteriorated over the years mainly due to root systems of the trees that previously line the street. School children and local residents frequently use this road as a pedestrian thoroughfare. The current condition of the surface is undulated and frequent repairs are required by Councils maintenance teams.

The road will be asphalted from kerb to kerb providing a smoother, safer road for the road user.

Total cost of proposed project is $251,152
