Project description

Current concrete floodway was badly damaged by floodwaters, and has edges falling into the riverbed on the Eastern side of the causeway. There are large cracks and holes where the concrete has separated from the road, and the whole structure has become uneven.

Establish gravel sidetrack whilst the current concrete floodway is removed, and replace existing causeway with a new 50m x 8m bed level concrete causeway including cement insitu-stabilisation for 30m for each road approach.

Total cost of proposed project is $150,000
