Project description

This section of road (2 km length) has been identified by Toowoomba Regional Council asset management system as requiring pavement rehabilitation works. The road is in poor condition and features numerous failures and extensive rutting and shape loss. The road has a high traffic volume and is an important link between Gowrie Junction, Meringandan and Highfields. In association with the pavement rehabilitation work the road pavement depths will be increased.

Reconstruct the pavement and widen the formation to achieve a 6.5m wide sealed road standard.

Total cost of proposed project is $960,000
