Project description

This Project will aim to enhance the connectivity and safety of active transport routes into the Perth CBD. Key works will include:

Aberdeen Street Bike Lanes
Kings Park Road Shared Path
Spring Street / Mounts Bay Road Bike Connection
Wellington Street Bike Lane Upgrade
Wittenoon Street Bike Lanes

Benefits

Improved road safety for all road users;
Reduced congestion and improve travel times; and
Improved efficiency and network reliability.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $7.25 million towards the project.

Timetable

Construction commenced in mid 2023 and be completed by mid 2027.
