Project description

This Project will aim to enhance the connectivity and safety of active transport routes into the Perth CBD. Key works will include: 

  • Aberdeen Street Bike Lanes 

  • Kings Park Road Shared Path 

  • Spring Street / Mounts Bay Road Bike Connection 

  • Wellington Street Bike Lane Upgrade 

  • Wittenoon Street Bike Lanes

Benefits

  • Improved road safety for all road users;

  • Reduced congestion and improve travel times; and 

  • Improved efficiency and network reliability.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $7.25 million towards the project.

Timetable

Construction commenced in mid 2023 and be completed by mid 2027.
