Project description

The project will upgrade Stirling Bus Interchange on the Joondalup rail line, located to the north of the Stephenson Avenue extension across the Mitchell Freeway. The project will construct a new bridge over Mitchell Freeway and associated bus interchange infrastructure, to provide additional interchange capacity and improved bus operations.

The Australian Government has committed $86.89 million towards the project.

Timetable

The project is being delivered as part of the Stephenson Avenue extension. Works are expected to be complete by early 2025.
